Application:

Can be used in applications where Type K elements have shorter life and stability problems due to oxidation and the development of ‘green rot’.
It is better suited to high temperature monitoring than the Type K because it is more stable and resists oxidation.
Type N variants are the more expensive of the two parts than K type.
These are better suited for nuclear environments, making them a popular option for people with related applications.
